THE HEART OF TRUTH
Keep your heart with all diligence;
For out of it are the issues of life.
For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
A good tree does not bring forth corrupt fruit.
Neither does a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree is known by it's own fruit.
For of thorns men do not gather figs,
nor of a bramble bush do they gather grapes.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart
brings forth that which is good.
An evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart
brings forth that which is evil.
For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
There is nothing from outside a man,
that entering into him can defile him.
But those things which proceed out of his mouth
come forth from his heart,
and they defile the man.
